The LABoMED® Prima Mu microscope was designed to address a variety of needs in clinical environments, thanks to a highly modular form factor with the very best in optical, illumination, and mechanical engineering.

A well corrected apochromatic optical system coated with proprietary MaxLite TM coatings mean physicians see images of the highest color fidelity with virtually no chromatic or spherical aberration.

An efficient LED light source provides well over 75,000 lux, with an estimated run time of 50,000 hours. A highly fluid mechanical design provides for smooth and accurate microscope positioning.

What does this all mean? A lifetime of delightful, hassle-free use.

With an arm design that has a lower center of gravity, the PRIMA Mu promises superior balance and near vibration-free viewing at all magnifications, making it a smart choice for space-constrained environments.

A range of mounting options are available, including a compact floor stand on a lockable base, wall mount, ceiling mount, and table mount.

The LABoMED ProLine offers video and intermediary accessories, including beam splitters, a complete range of camera adapters, as well as the LABoMED iVu in- line camera solution for documentation needs.

A carefully designed illumination system means a true-to-day color temperature of 3700K. This no-heat system is practically maintenance free with over 50,000 hours of working life.

The Prima OPH is a versatile microscope designed for both surgical and clinical environments.  With an intelligent LED illumination system that runs long and cool, an Apochromatic optical system, and superb RedReflex system, and motorized movement, this microscope delivers on the promise of high performance at affordability.  

Prima OPH Advantages:

• A super bright LED produces over 80,000 Lux with a color temperature of 5700 degrees Kelvin to produce a natural daylight illumination.  A run time of  60,000 hours eliminates the need for bulb change. Electronics built directly into the swivel arm make the Prima OPH the most compact solution in its class.
• An Apochromatic optical system produces sharp, aberration-free images at every step. Proprietary MaxLite™ coatings promise the highest degree of anti-reflective and anti-scratch properties, yielding artifact free and durable optics. 
• RedReflex is made possible in the Prima OPH thanks to an ingenious optical design, enabling visualization of an illuminated retina for easy detection of ruptured vessels, arteries, or damage to the optic disc.
• Ophthalmologists can use a digital SLR or video camera, thanks to a wide selection of adapters available through the ProLine™.
