Over the years, the microscope has become a standard tool of care for a diverse set of dental applications from routine crown preps to canal identification and pulp removal. Answering this call, LABOMED was the first to develop a single LED-based illumination concept for a dental microscope. That design leadership has delivered an evolved illumination system that is highly efficient, cool, and offers a truly white LED with Lux values nearing that of Xenon, but with a 60,000 hour rated bulb life.

Given most clinics have spatial constraints, a microscope needs to be more compact than ever. Housing the LED light source and electronics within the Prima arm assembly eliminates the need for bulky illumination housing, yielding an overall space saving of approximately 20% compared to conventional Xenon and Halogen systems.

• The PRIMA DNT comes with a clip-on objective protector to shield the optics from spray - back and debris.
• Floor, wall, ceiling, and traditional table mounting options are available, as well as an extra long suspension arm (providing an additional ~250mm) for further removed mounting orientations. a host of eyepiece and objective options are available to further customize the priMa Dnt.
• The nuVarTM variable objective enables dentists to select the ideal working distance based on procedure requirements. nuVarTM provides fluid adjustment of focal length from 300mm to 400mm.

• For space constrained operatories or teaching environments, labomed has developed a more compact option called the Dnt trainer model, with a lower center of gravity and short swivel arm.

The Power of Zoom:
In terms of optics, the Magnas apochromatic design provides the ultimate color correction for three wavelengths and features a zoom mechanism, providing a wide range of magnifications. All optics feature our MaxLite coatings, promising reflection- free and highly durable optics with maximum light through-put.

Practitioners with all degrees of experience will appreciate the Magnas zoom system, which features a push-in detent lever that will allow users repeatable and easily identifiable magnification stops. This provides a quick change over from continuous zoom to an 8 stop setting.

An effortless articulation system was the impetus for the ABA brake system. Conveniently located release buttons are situated on both the left side (on the carrier) and the right side (on the ergonomic handle) of the microscope, making the system highly intuitive. Holding down either of the release buttons allows the microscope to move with ease, regardless of the accessory load. When the button is released, the microscope immediately holds its position.

Ergonomic Posture And Crisp Documentation:
Both the ergonomic handle and carrier arm are equipped with a brake release button, appealing to both right and left handed users. The NuVar variable objective comes equipped with a responsive control collar for smooth adjustments to focal length.

A 45-degree extender wedge and rotoplate will keep users in the most ergonomic seated position, maintaining an upright posture even at extreme treatment angles. A DSLR adapter makes the system ready for all documentation needs.
